Department of Posts, Bengaluru under the Ministry of Communications have released the notification for recruitment of Staff Car Driver 2024. Interested Applicants can apply for the post of Staff Car Driver by downloading the Application form. Application Form can be downloaded from India Post website or Karnataka Post website.

Selection Process of India Post Recruitment 2024 for Staff Car Driver
Selection of the Candidates shall be based on driving test. This driving test shall assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles including knowledge of Motor Mechanism.
Application along with requisite documents should be sent to “The Manager, Mail Motor Service, Bengaluru-560001” through speed post/Register Post with appropriate size of thick paper envelope clearly inscribing on the cover as “Application for the post of Staff Car Driver (Direct Recruitment) at MMS Bengaluru”
Pay Scale
Eligible Indian citizens qualified and selected for the post of Staff car Driver in Karnataka circle will get salary under Pay scale of Level-2 under 7th CPC (Rs.19900-63200/-).
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- General Category- 18 to 27 Years
- SC & ST Category- 18 to 32 Years
- OBC Category- 18 to 30 Years
- Government Servants -18 to 40 Years
- Ex Servicemen – 18 to 30 Years
Educational Qualification
- Possession of a valid driving license for light and heavy Motors vehicles.
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle)
- Experience of driving light and heavy Motor vehicle at least three years (In the letter head).
- Pass in 10th standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
Desirable Qualification
- Three years service as Home guard or Civil Volunteers.
